Souvik Das has recently graduated with upper second class honours (2.1) from University College London where he read Biomedical Sciences and specialised in pharmacology and neuroscience. Souvik hoped to enter into medical school after graduation but after a few business competitions, a couple dozen networking events, an internship at a proprietary trading house and managing his own society, his eyes turned towards the business and finance field.
He is currently working as a junior accountant at Barnes Roffe LLP where he will be working towards gaining his ACA qualification from the ICAEW. He hopes to be a fully qualified chartered accountant within the next three years.
Souvik has gained an interest in company valuation after reading many books by investment legends such as Warren Buffet, Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch and Phillip A’ Fischer. This was the inspiration for www.weanalyse.com as he saw it as the perfect way to harness his valuation skills and hopefully develop the necessary analytical techniques to create a profitable personal investment portfolio.
